Label was the Corbett family's dog who was seen in various episodes of The Sooty Show, Learn with Sooty and Sooty & Co. Although it is unconfirmed, it is assumed the dog is now deceased. Label received her name because Matthew Corbett's children wanted to call her Lady (possibly after the lead character of the Disney film "Lady and the Tramp" who is also a cocker spaniel) while his wife Sallie Corbett wanted to call her Mabel. Matthew decided to then split the difference and call her Label. This fact is stated in the Learn with Sooty video, A-Z of Animals.
